Introducing Cary Street Gym Art Space!

Virginia Commonwealth University's Recreational Sports will be providing an opportunity for VCU art students to show their work in the Cary Street Gym starting Fall 2010. This unique opportunity is intended to expand the range of people the work is viewed by. By showcasing a variety of artwork in the Cary Street Gym we will be creating beauty in an uncommon place, and adding another stress relieving element to the atmosphere of the gym.

Call for artist entries:

Extended Deadline November 19th 2010 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All proposals should include:

1.             Application (applications and exhibit space details can be found online at www.recsports.vcu.edu or email CaryStreetGymArtSpace@gmail.com )

2.             brief proposal (no more than 200 word) describing the ideas/themes for the exhibit.

3.             Between 7-10 images of your submitted work.

We accept images in JPG format no wider than 10in on the longest side, at 72dpi. (be sure to include true dimensions of actual work). All work should be included on a CD or DVD (please note the CD/DVD will not be returned).
